Man jumps into Lagos Lagoon in Lekki

The police have confirmed the identity of the man who jumped into the Lagos lagoon on Friday.

The man was identified as 40-year-old Adekunle Oluseyi from Ondo State, the Lagos Police spokesperson, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said.

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, confirmed the incident, a report said.

It is understood that officials of the Lagos State Waterways Authority, LASEMA and the Marine Police were at the scene to search for the man.

It was unclear what led to the suicide plunge but NAN gathered that the man pulled off his clothes and left some belongings, including his phone and ATM card, before jumping into the lagoon.

Rescue efforts are ongoing.

Rick Ross back home after being hospitalized for Heart related Illness.

Entertainment. MMG boss, Rick Ross has returned home from the hospital after he was found unresponsive, foaming in the mouth in his Florida home last week, TMZ reported on Monday, March 5. Sources told the website that the rapper was released early Monday morning. He reportedly spent four days in a local hospital and was transferred to a second hospital at some point because of his condition. The outlet claims that Ross is now being cared for in his home.
