There are many different techniques that parents use to discipline their kids. While most parents keep it simple, there are others who go to the extreme to teach their children a lesson.
Texas father, Wesley Mathews, decided to
discipline his 3-year-old daughter Sherin, by taking her outside at night to stand alone by a tree in their back yard. His reason? well, she refused to drink her milk.
As disturbing as this sound, it gets worse.
When he returned 15 minutes later to check on the girl, she was gone.
According to Buzzfeed, Mathews did not report his daughter missing for five hours. When police arrived, he told them that coyotes had recently been spotted in the alley behind their house where Sherin was last seen. The backyard also backs up to railroad tracks.
He was arrested Saturday on charges of abandoning or endangering a child.
