Tupac may still be alive, Suge Knight thinks.
New York Daily News reports that Death Row boss, Suge Knight has a conspiracy theory: Tupac Shakur is still alive.
The Death Row Records CEO, who is currently in jail awaiting trial for a 2015 murder charge, spoke to Soledad O’Brien and Ice-T for their upcoming Fox special, “Who Shot Biggie and Tupac?”
“When Pac died — I mean, if he really did, you know,” Knight, 52, said on the phone in a clip acquired by TMZ.
“I mean, when I left that hospital, me and Pac was laughing and joking. So I don’t see how somebody can turn from doing well to doing bad.”
Shakur was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in September 1996 after the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson boxing match at the MGM Grand; Knight was with him at the time.
There had been several theories on the subject. Some theorists argued that the rapper fake his own death in fulfillment of Niccolo Machiavelli's theory. The Italian war strategist, in one of his books, advocated faking one's death at the age of 25 and resurrecting 18 years afterward to haunt one's enemies.
Niccolo Machiavelli was believed to be one of Tupac greatest mentors from whose name the rapper adapted the name Makaveli.
